Anna Bright sweeps two golds at PPA Rate Las Vegas Open

Anna Bright closed out an undefeated weekend at the Professional Pickleball Association 2026 Rate Las Vegas Open, collecting two gold medals and capping a strong run ahead of the tour's Worlds. Playing mixed doubles with Hayden Patriquin, she finished the event without a loss as the PPA opened a busy three-week stretch in October.

The Open was staged at the Darling Tennis Center rather than a casino or convention hall, drawing a field of more than 1,600 pros and amateurs in the Las Vegas heat. With several top salaried players absent and thinner singles draws than usual, the bracket opened room for second-tier names to go deep — including a men's singles final where Hunter Johnson defeated Ben Johns for gold after taking out Federico Staksrud in the semis.
