First-time singles champions headline APP Columbus Open 2026
Tristan Dussault and Domenika Turkovic won their first APP singles golds in Columbus, while Jack Munro took home two titles.
The Association of Pickleball Players (APP) Tour held its seventh domestic Tier 1 event of the season at Pickle & Chill in Columbus, Ohio. Both singles titles went to first-time APP singles champions.
Tristan Dussault followed his APP Next singles win in August with a gold at full Tier 1 level, and Domenika Turkovic won her first ever APP gold on the women's side. Jack Munro was the event's standout, collecting two gold medals.
The tournament came soon after the APP announced its Moneyball Series, a new competitive circuit with prize money and APP Tour ranking points. The tour also says major 2027 schedule changes are coming. That is worth watching for Asian players following the APP Asia pathway.
